I'm reading the same book that Ashe is reading, it gives some basic understanding of registers, opcode, etc etc... I also have a good grasp over C++. Do you think I could read this book and be armed with the appropriate technical know how to tackle professional level objectives? I asked you that, since that is the objective that I have set for myself. I want to successfully hack and mod the client-side of a multiplayer game. Python is my language of choice too. lately I am reading a book about the same topic here it's 'GRAY HAT PYTHON' by Justin seitz. I haven't read much but I am welling to grasp something about reverse engineering in python style. I am like you people around me are bashing on python even though they never heard of it.I told them that I use it to do cool stuff (like controlling a robot through a serial port, mobile phone programming, developing my own mini computer games etc..), anyways, tell you what people will stuck to what they think the market needs (java, oracle, c++), but I tried all these and more but nothing imprents on me like python. python is so easy to learn and understand, you can find wonderful step by step tutorials online everywhere. the code is easy on the eyes to understand. for god's sake: NASA, google, even big movie computer animation studios (remember Star wars the new episodes 1,2,3) are ALL USING PYTHON. heck, python is the ultimate joice for hackers and reverse engineers as well. There you have it, now I rest my case. I am not a reverse engineer but I am with all proud a Pythonesta.
